It had started as a gameat night, she would pick a book at random and read it to him, slow and seductive. Sometimes it workedpoetry or erotica. Sometimes, it was a textbook from his biology class, a theoretical introduction to philosophy.
Then she had to work harder, rolling the words on her tongue like smooth stones. He just loved the sound of her voice, the movement of her lips as she read, the way her eyes would flick up from the page to assess the effect she was having on him.
